My baby girl turned four this past Sunday. She requested a blue frog birthday party with a big blue frog cake.
I am not sure where the obsession of blue frogs came from but apparently it is here to stay for a bit. She told us a few months ago that when she grows up she wants to be a “frog snuggler”…say what? Love her imagination!
A pretty simple little party.

Making a frog out of cake is not the easiest thing to do, but luckily it came together pretty quick and it actually looks like a frog.
As you can see, it is not perfect but dang I think it is cute and so didn’t the birthday girl…so that is all that matters!

Of course she had to wear her blog frog Halloween costume that I made her.

Today I wanted to share one of my favorite things to do with the plastic bags that sheet sets come in. With just a few scraps of fabric you can turn those plastic bags into a really cute bag for the kids…or yourself. You can use these bags for just about anything. I like to use mine in the car. I like their storing snacks, an extra change of clothes and all of their coloring supplies in them.

Amy’s pattern shop,

To make the dolls I decided to use pieces of a pattern that I used previously when making
I let my girls choose the fabrics and the hair color, after all these will be their dolls. I can’t help but love that my littlest chose blue for the hair. Then again it was not a big surprise. If I had pink felt I am pretty sure there would have been one with pink hair too! Our world revolves around the kids and their favorite colors right now.
I made the little seashell tops and flower headbands with some felt flowers that came in one of my girls American Doll Craft kits. Can I just mention how much I love the American Doll Craft Kits?!

Inspired by Celina but definitely our style! Head on over to see what everyone else has made! What a fun way to celebrate one talented and sweet friend!
