Last week I was contacted by My Memories to see if I wanted to try out some of their digital scrapbooking software…Um yes! But I will admit, I was a bit nervous at first. Even though I know my way around this blog I am horrible with computers, really… horrible! But I was willing to give it a try. I downloaded the software (which was so easy to do) and within minutes I was making collages. I know that the main focus of their products is to use for scrapbooking but I couldn’t help myself and make some collages. I have Photoshop and use it all the time for cropping and enhancing photo’s but every time I try to use it to make a collage or a card, I just cant! No matter how many times I have tried it never works right for me, but with this scrapbook software collages were so easy to make…honestly! The hardest part was choosing which template to use. But once I had my template picked out all I had to do was start adding my photo’s into the layout with one simple little click. The software automatically changes the size of your pictures so that they fit into the chosen spots perfectly…love that!!

So here are a few collages that pretty much sum up our life the past week here. Canning and baking everyday or preparing the veggies to do so. It’s funny, looking at the pretty jars make canning look so fun and pretty…but lets face it, it’s a lot of work! And with 3 little kids at your feet while your trying to do it all makes it for a CRAZY time! But it is one of those things that needs to be done in order for me to stay home with the kiddo’s.

But each year it gets easier and easier as the kids get older and older and are able to help this momma out. Oh trust me, there are lots of fights, messes and craziness going on here, but I would rather have that then the kiddo’s not be involved.

What, you don’t have your food and feet in the same place? Those of you that received one of those loaves of zucchini cake, sorry. Geez, I guess I shoulda left that picture out. But I have a feeling, none of you really care.

I love having the ability to add the pictures in with one simple click. But the best part is that since my photo’s are already on my computer it saves so much time and honestly only takes a few minutes to put one of these together. The digital scrapbooking software has a ton of different fonts to choose from along with embellishments, different papers and even spelling check! Oh yes, this software was made for me.

And since I couldn’t help myself I even put together a little business card for my etsy shop. I foresee myself using the My Memories digital scrapbooking software for this blog. Which is so easy to upload onto blogger by the way. All you have to do is save your creations onto your desktop and then upload them as you normally would an other photo into blogger. I know you all saw this post and yes I used digital scrapbooking software to create those collages as well. I guess you could say I’m a bit collage obsessed now.

I know I showed you just collages, but My Memories offers so much more! You can make scrapbooking pages, photo books, calendars, cards and even videos. Luckily, My Memories is offering one of my readers the very same software for FREE!

Would love to make the collages of events in our lives. Great way to be better organized. You know instead of having folders and folders of unlabeled pictures.

I would love to have this for getting a handle on all my pictures. I have been wanting to do a photo book a year for each kid. So between my three little boys I am only 9 books behind! :)
